The Colloid and Organic Materials Laboratory (COOL) is constituted of scientists working in the field of sustainable polymer materials. We generate knowledge and technology related to materials for saving resources and energy. The main topics of research are currently materials for nanomedicine, self-healing materials and anticorrosion coatings. We are part of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Molecular Science and Technology at the Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC). As part of VISTEC, the lab is committed to nurture students and employees with continuous learning skills, creativity and independent thinking so that they act as responsible and productive citizens in a sustainable society. The COOL Lab was also the first and only Max Planck Partner Laboratory in Thailand.
